Fear, Loathing, and Heavy Riffs
Nikola’s Cage returns with *Rascal*, a groove-drenched nu-metal anthem that doesn’t apologize for anything.
Built on the tension between daily grind and the audacity to dream bigger, *Rascal* channels the frustration of working yourself to the bone while the finish line keeps moving. Thick riffs, a neck-snapping groove, and a chorus that hits like a pressure valve finally blowing. This is the sound of someone who hasn’t given up, but isn’t pretending it’s easy either.
The accompanying music video is singer Soorowah’s vision, serving as both director, producer and the one behind the camera, with the assistance of band mates and our friend Kate. Inspired by the wild and unhinged spirit of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the video is as raw and self-made as it gets, and that’s exactly what gives it its edge.
